Southwestern Burgers with Chipotle Sauce

One Year Ago:  Chicken Parmigiana

Remember the addicting creamy cheddar chipotle sauce recipe that I posted a few days ago?  I decided to use it on burgers to give them a southwestern spin.  My family loved them and my husband told me that it was the best burger he has had in a long time... and I totally agree!

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c breadcrumb
  • Slices of pepper jack cheese
  • Sliced tomato
  • Lettuce
  • Avocado, chopped (they are hiding in the photo under the lettuce)
  • Creamy cheddar chipotle sauce
  • Hamburger buns, lightly toasted
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
Directions:

In a large bowl, combine the beef, Worcestershire sauce and breadcrumb; mix well.  Form into patties and grill to desired doneness.  Just before the burgers are cooked through on the grill, place the pepper jack cheese on the patties and close the lid just long enough for the cheese to melt.

Arrange the burger.  Slather on a generous amount of chipotle sauce on both sides of the bun and layer the beef patty, avocado, lettuce, tomato and any other ingredients you like.

Enjoy!
