I had a little leftover eggnog from Christmas with an expiration date of 1/1/2013 and I decided to use it up with breakfast this morning. It's a simple yet delicious twist on your classic French toast.
- Cooking spray
- 1/2 c eggnog
- 2 large eggs
- 4 slices bread
- Syrup, butter, cinnamon, etc., for topping
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and coat it with cooking spray.
Whisk the eggnog and eggs together in a medium bowl. Dip each piece of bread on both sides in the eggnog mixture. Place the bread slices on the preheated pan and cook on both sides until golden brown.
Serve with your favorite toppings.
