Grilled Peaches with Ice Cream & Mint

Grilled peaches are a perfect dessert to finish off any cookout.  When you grill peaches, it enhances their sweetness and makes them even juicier.  They may look fancy but they are incredibly easy and fast to prepare.  After your guests have had their fill from the dinner grill, simply brush on a little honey and place the peaches on the already hot grill for a few minutes.  Once they are done, add some ice cream and serve.  

Yields 4 servings

  • 2 medium ripe peaches 
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Ice cream, such as vanilla (salted caramel is our favorite) 
  • Fresh mint leaves 


Preheat grill over medium heat.  

Halve the peaches and remove the pits.  Brush honey over the top of each peach.  Place the peaches cut-side down directly on the preheated grill.

Cover and grill for 3 to 5 minutes, or until there are grill marks and the peaches are soft.  

Spoon a scoop of ice cream in the center of each peach and garnish with mint.
