We love our queso! This recipe may not be "authentic" but it's quick, easy and oh, so tasty!
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 tbsp canned green chiles
- 2 tbsp diced tomato
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- Optional: 1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded, minced
- Pepper, to taste
- Tortilla chips
Add the Velveeta in a small saucepan and melt over medium-low heat. Stir in the heavy cream, green chiles, tomato, cilantro, optional jalapeno pepper and pepper and continue to stir until well combined. Turn the heat down to low.
Serve with tortilla chips.
