Pumpkin Spice Latte

Kick back, relax and enjoy this beautiful autumn weather with a delicious pumpkin spice latte.  Go ahead - you deserve it!  Pour in a little rum to take it up a notch.  

Yields 2 servings

  • 12 oz hot brewed coffee
  • 4 oz half and half 
  • 2/3 c pumpkin puree 
  • 1/4 c brown sugar 
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/16 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Optional:  Rum, to taste
  • Cinnamon sticks 
  • Whipped cream 


In a medium saucepan, combine the coffee, half and half, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Heat the mixture over medium heat and bring to just a boil.  Remove from the heat.  Pour in the optional rum, to taste.  

Pour the latte into two coffee mugs.  Serve with whipped cream and cinnamon sticks.
