Instead of using condensed soup from a can with MSG, why not make your own?
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c any type of broth
- 1/2 c milk or heavy cream
- Mushrooms, chopped and sauted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:- Over medium-low heat, melt better in a saucepan.
- Gradually stir in flour until smooth and remove from heat.
- Gradually add in broth and milk, stirring until smooth.
- Stir in mushrooms.
- Return saucepan to heat and bring sauce to a gentle boil, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper.
