Conjure up the kid in you with some Oreos and milk but enjoy them as an adult, milkshake style with a little whiskey. You deserve it! Everything in moderation, of course.
Note: Baileys, rum and bourbon are also good substitutions for the whiskey.
Ingredients:
Yields 1 serving
- 1 1/2 c vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 whole milk
- 5 Oreo cookies
- Optional: 1/2 jigger or 1/2 shot (0.75 oz) whiskey, or to taste (I use about 1 oz )
Directions:
Combine the ice cream, milk, Oreo cookies and whiskey in a blender. Process until smooth and creamy. Rim a glass with some crushed up Oreo cookies, if desired. Pour the milkshake into the glass. Garnish with Oreos.
